Mrs. Tanya Kotlowski is the Superintendent for the Necedah Area School District. She started in the district on July 1, 2017.

Tanya is humbled by how every leadership experience she had, has led to personal and professional growth; however, she has realized through these experiences a strong desire to be a part of a small rural school community, with the advantage of K-12 students and staff in one building.

"Being a direct part of students' lives is important to me. I can't imagine not seeing kids each day. Seeing them, gives me a daily reminder how important our work is, and motivates me to consistently think about how we can increasingly meet their needs. Necedah is a place I can be directly involved with students and staff on a daily basis. To me, leadership is about developing people to be the best they can be. Being a direct part of this growth is something I value deeply."
