Necedah Area School District adopted a Graduate Profile the Fall of 2018.  In the Fall of 2019, the district began aligning professional development priorities and student learning outcomes with the graduate profile. The alignment of the district work plan provides the assurance to our community we are beginning to monitor the outcomes our community verified as important. The following District Report Card was drafted as a starting point to align student performance with the graduate profile.

Assessment plays a key role in ensuring teachers are meeting the academic learning needs of individual students. Necedah Schools has a balanced assessment approach that prioritizes both individual growth, as well as grade-level benchmarked achievement. Teachers utilize classroom assessments to inform their instruction, as well as curricular and program improvements. Our balanced assessment approach includes the use of classroom assessments (formative), grade-level and course common assessments (benchmark), and state-mandated assessments (summative). We believe in using quality assessments and researched assessment practices to monitor individual and collective growth and achievement of our students.
