Superintendent Opening

Dear Necedah Parents, Staff, Students, and Community Members-

A special thank you to our community, our teachers, parents, students and administration for being a part of our process for selecting the next superintendent.  We reviewed all the comments and evaluations completed online by the community, parents, students and teachers.  We listened to what the administration had to say and what each of the board members had concluded following 2 sets of interviews and listening to the presentations of the final 3 candidates. 

There was no consensus between the comments of teachers, community, students, parents, administration or board members that brought one of the candidates to be a primary choice for the new superintendent position.  We therefore agreed to table the selection process and try again in the fall.  We have agreed to hire an interim superintendent for the 2026-27 school year.  This will be selected from among a group of retired superintendents with years of experience.

Thank you again for participating and we will need your input again when we are able to finalize 3 additional candidates in the next selection process.
