Please save the date of Saturday September 14, 2024 for the Annual NHS Alumni Association Reunion Banquet.
- 11:30 AM to 3 PM at the Woodbine Inn, Necedah, featuring a buffet with soup & salad bar, dessert & coffee.
- Brief business meeting as required by our bylaws, prizes and time to socialize before and after dinner.
- Official invitation/announcement has been mailed/emailed to those in selected classes with contact information on file and registrations are open on Square or by mail.

Since 1989, the Necedah Alumni Association has awarded over 190 scholarships from the General and Memorial Scholarship Funds to graduating seniors. We have also administered the Barbara Below Schreiber scholarship awards. The first “Janice (Fry) Marsh Nursing Scholarship” was awarded in 2022. In addition, the first “Alyce M. Herbison Scholarship” was awarded in 2022. Both these new scholarships were created as endowed funds within the NHS Alumni Association Legacy Scholarship fund at the Community Foundation of Southern Wisconsin. We appreciate the generosity of the donors and their commitment to support NHS graduates seeking further education.
The Memorial Scholarship Fund was established to incorporate memorials that families and friends donate to honor loved ones. The Memorial Scholarship Plaques, with names of loved ones engraved, are on display in the glass showcase located at the main entrance of the school complex.
A Permanent Scholarship Fund was established to provide scholarships to Necedah High School graduates for all perpetuity. This fund is now the Necedah High School Alumni Association Legacy Endowment Fund held at the Community Foundation of Southern Wisconsin.
The Necedah Alumni Association is an eligible charity for Thrivent Financial members to direct their Choice Dollars to be donated to the scholarship fund. Qualified Charitable Distributions from an IRA may also be donated to any of our scholarship funds.
The Necedah Alumni Association is tax exempt under 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code, thus, contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law as charitable contributions.
