In Spanish III, students continue to build on previous Spanish knowledge to work towards an intermediate-mid proficiency level and communication in the past and present tense. Students communicate with one another and with the teacher in the target language to become more comfortable using Spanish in everyday situations. The use of authentic materials, such as films, articles, children's books, popular and classic music, fables, and television programs allow students to be immersed in the language and increase their proficiency. Students also dive deeper into the meaning and history behind Hispanic traditions and celebrations.
